Now on to today’s artist spotlight. This time, we’re heading from Covington, Kentucky to California, right into the world of an artist who proves Christian hip hop doesn’t have to chase trends — it can set them.
ARTIST SPOTLIGHT - EP. 2 - TOMMY ZUKO 🎶

Bio
Tommy Zuko is a Christian hip-hop artist and producer whose story starts in Covington, Kentucky and stretches all the way to California. Raised on Motown soul and the golden age of hip-hop, he started chasing music at just six years old. By his teens, his bedroom closet had turned into a DIY studio where he taught himself to write, produce, engineer, and shape his own sound from the ground up.
Eventually, he bought a one-way ticket to California, betting on his calling and looking for a place where vision, craft, and faith could grow. In 2020, everything shifted — he surrendered his life to Christ, was baptized, and reoriented his entire catalog around Jesus. Since then, his music has moved from self-expression to soul expression, carrying joy, conviction, and that “God really changed my life” energy into every release.
Today, Zuko is part of a wave proving that Christian hip hop is not the understudy. His songs sit comfortably next to mainstream records in sound and quality — but the content is different, drenched in redemption, perseverance, and real hope.
RDZ Note: Tommy has one of those unique styles that lends you to hearing shades of past greats in his work. You can tell he is s student of the game and God. The production is fun and energetic and the bars always point you in the right direction. EUGH is my favorite so far but you really can’t go wrong with his songs!
