Introduction:

In Saturday’s teaching, we were reminded that while coins bear Caesar’s image, people bear God’s image. Giving God what is His begins with giving Him ourselves — and helping others do the same.

Scripture

“…and to God the things that are God’s.”

Matthew 22:21

Observation

The Pharisees were scrupulous about giving Caesar his due but withheld from God what mattered most: His image-bearers. They burdened people with extra rules, kept them from worship, and distorted God’s priorities. Giving God what is His is not just about personal devotion — it’s about removing barriers so others can come to Him.

Application

I can live this out by honoring God with my life and actively making it easier for others to encounter Him. Today, I’ll look for a way to encourage, invite, or remove an obstacle for someone else to draw closer to God.

Prayer

Father, I am Yours, and so is every person I meet today. Help me see others as Your image-bearers and treat them with dignity, grace, and love that points them back to You. Amen.
