Today’s 1 Minute Devotional: He Prayed Through Pain
You ever feel like you’re supposed to be “okay” by now —
but the pain still hasn’t left?
That’s okay.
God isn’t asking you to hide it.
He’s asking you to trust Him with it.
“My soul is very sorrowful, even to death…” — Matthew 26:38
The night before He died, Jesus didn’t hold it together.
He didn’t fake strength.
He fell to the ground and wept.
He wrestled with his pain — He didn’t suppress it.
Real obedience makes room for sorrow.
It doesn’t skip emotion — it brings it to God.
And that’s the hope:
Jesus didn’t just endure pain — He trusted the Father through it.
He showed us that surrender isn’t pretending you’re okay;
it’s believing you’re not alone even when it feels like it.
So bring Him your pain.
Bring the fear.
Bring the part of you that still hurts.
Because bringing Him the weight that you’re trying to hold isn’t weakness, it’s worship.
