“This joy of mine is now complete.” — John 3:29
John says something almost unthinkable:
My joy is complete — while his platform is shrinking.
Most of us find joy in increase.
More visibility.
More affirmation.
More momentum.
But John finds joy in alignment.
“He must increase, but I must decrease.”
That’s not insecurity.
That’s clarity.
Decrease doesn’t mean you matter less.
It means Jesus is taking His rightful place at the center.
And when He’s central, you don’t shrink —
you rest.
Joy isn’t found in being seen the most.
It’s found in standing in the right place.
🙏 Jesus, teach me to measure my life by alignment, not attention. Let my joy be complete in You. Amen.
