“The fever left him.” — John 4:52
The miracle in this story happened miles away.
The father didn’t see it happen.
The disciples didn’t see it happen.
No one realized it in the moment.
But when the father finally met his servants on the road, they told him the exact hour the boy recovered — the same moment Jesus spoke.
God had already been working.
Sometimes we assume that if we cannot see progress, nothing is happening. But God’s work is not limited by our line of sight.
Faith reminds us that God can be moving in ways we cannot yet observe.
Even in the waiting.
Even in the silence.
Even when the outcome has not arrived.
🙏 Father, help me remember that Your work is not limited by what I can see. Give me confidence that You are moving even when I cannot yet understand it. Amen.
