In our world, we trust what we can measure.
Data.
Results.
Proof.
But Jesus gave this father something different — a promise.
He didn’t go with him. He didn’t perform a visible miracle. He simply spoke: “Go; your son will live.”
And the father began the long walk home with nothing but that word.
That journey was a walk of trust.
Only later did he discover the miracle had already happened. The boy recovered at the exact moment Jesus spoke.
Faith often lives in that space between the promise and the outcome — trusting Jesus before you see the results.
🙏 Father, help me trust Your word even when I cannot yet see what You are doing. Give me faith to believe You are already at work. Amen.
