“And as they were eating, he said, ‘Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.’” — Matthew 26:21
Jesus didn’t pass the bread in ignorance.
He passed it in full awareness.
He knew what Judas was about to do.
He knew Peter would deny Him.
He knew the rest would scatter.
Not one of them had a clean record.
But every one of them was offered communion.
So the next time you feel too messy, too distant, too unworthy to come close…
Remember the guest list that night.
He broke the bread… knowing who would break His heart.
And He still offered it freely.
Why?
Because grace doesn’t wait for you to get it right.
It comes while you’re still wrong — and says, “Take. Eat. This is for you.”
💭 Jesus, thank You for inviting me — even when You know everything. Teach me to receive Your grace, not run from it. Amen.

PS: If He didn’t cancel the dinner over betrayal, He’s not canceling you. 👀
