“You shall eat it with your belt fastened, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand.” — Exodus 12:11

The first Passover wasn’t a celebration — it was a preparation.

The people weren’t resting. They were getting ready.

And in Matthew 26, Jesus does the same.

On the edge of betrayal, suffering, and the cross… He gives His disciples a meal.

Not just for comfort — but for strength.

You may not be where you want to be yet.

But you’re not empty-handed.

God gives you nourishment before the journey, peace before the pressure, and presence before the pain.

Because He knows what’s coming — and He’s preparing you for it.
