The religious leaders remembered Jesus’ promise…
better than His own disciples.
They panicked.
They planned.
They posted guards.
And here’s the part we miss:
Your enemies often believe in your calling
more than you believe in it.
Why else would they try so hard
to stop what God is doing in you?
Their resistance isn’t random —
it’s revelation.
They see your potential.
They sense God’s hand.
They feel threatened by what God is building.
So when you face opposition…
when people work overtime to limit you, dismiss you, or silence you…
Don’t let it intimidate you.
Let it confirm you.
Because their fear is evidence of your future.
Their urgency is proof God is up to something.
Their pushback is the shadow cast by God’s promise over your life.
Lord, when I face resistance, remind me it’s often a sign that You’re moving powerfully in me. Amen.
