Everyone else left.
The disciples hid.
The crowds vanished.
But the women stayed.
They stayed when hope felt foolish.
They stayed when faith felt heavy.
They stayed when there was nothing left to “do” except be present.
And because they stayed…
they became the first to witness the resurrection.
Sometimes faith isn’t loud.
Sometimes it’s just staying close to Jesus when life goes dark.
Lord, teach me to stay close to you — even when faith feels foolish. Amen.
