“The curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.”— Matthew 27:51

For centuries, there was a wall —

a literal veil —

that said, “You’re not allowed in here.”

Only one man, once a year, could approach God.

Everyone else stayed outside.

But when Jesus died, God tore that curtain Himself…

from the top down.

Not because humanity climbed up to Him —

but because He came down to us.

This is the heart of the Gospel:

In Jesus, God is not far.

Not hidden.

Not waiting for you to earn your way in.

He has removed every barrier you keep putting back up —

your shame, your fear, your “not enough.”

You have access.

Right now.

Right where you are.

So stop standing in the doorway of grace.

Walk in.

🙏 Father, help me live like the veil is truly gone. Draw me close — and keep me close. Amen.
