“From noon until three in the afternoon, darkness came over all the land.” — Matthew 27:45

Sometimes life feels like this verse.

The light should be shining —

but suddenly everything goes dim.

Not because you did something wrong,

but because something sacred is happening.

On the cross, the darkness wasn’t a sign of God’s absence.

It was a sign of the cost Jesus was carrying…

and the closeness of God’s work behind the scenes.

And the same is true for us.

Dark seasons aren’t always evidence of failure.

Often, they’re evidence of God doing something deep…

something weighty…

something that cannot be rushed.

When noon turns to night in your life —

don’t panic.

Pay attention.

God may be doing His most important work in the dark.
