John 1:30-31
This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.’ 31 I myself did not know him, but for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.”
John’s greatest act of faith
is knowing when to step aside.
“He must increase.
I must decrease.”
John doesn’t cling to influence.
He doesn’t protect his platform.
He doesn’t compete with Jesus.
He points — and steps out of the way.
And that’s the invitation for us.
You don’t have to be impressive.
You don’t have to be certain about everything.
You don’t have to convince anyone.
Just point.
And trust God to do what only He can do.
🙏 Jesus, help me step out of the way and trust You to work. Amen.
