Most people went around Samaria. It was easier. Less awkward. Less controversial. But Jesus went straight through.
Why? Because love doesn’t take detours around complicated people.
We all have our version of Samaria — that coworker, that family member, that uncomfortable conversation. The person it feels easier to avoid.
But real love moves toward tension, not around it. If God moved toward you when your life was messy and unfinished, maybe He’s inviting you to move toward someone too.
🙏 Jesus, give me courage to take the road love takes — even when it costs me comfort. Amen.
