“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5
Darkness is loud.
It convinces us it’s stronger than it really is.
But John says something simple and defiant:
Darkness doesn’t defeat light.
It never has.
Light doesn’t argue with the dark.
It doesn’t negotiate.
It just shows up — and everything changes.
If your life feels shadowed right now, this matters.
Fear doesn’t get the final word.
Grief doesn’t win.
Confusion doesn’t reign forever.
The light has already entered the room.
And it cannot be undone.
🙏 Jesus, shine Your light into the places I’ve grown afraid of. Amen.
