“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” — John 1:14
From the very beginning, John tells us something staggering:
God did not remain distant.
He did not stay abstract.
He did not speak only from heaven.
The Word — the power behind creation, the wisdom holding everything together — stepped into human flesh.
Not to observe us.
Not to manage us.
But to be with us.
This means your life is not governed by impersonal forces or cold fate.
You were created by Someone who knows your name, understands your weakness, and chose proximity over distance.
God did not wait for the world to become clean, stable, or worthy.
He entered it as it was — broken, dark, and desperate — and brought light with Him.
And that same God still comes close.
🙏 Jesus, thank You for coming near. Help me trust that You are present even when I don’t feel You. Amen.
