Most of us assume God responds to us based on how we perform.
Love if we obey.
Patience if we improve.
Grace if we try harder.
But Jesus flips the order.
God does not wait for the world to be lovable — He loves first.
Not after repentance.
Not after clarity.
Not after change.
Before belief.
Before proof.
Before response.
That means God’s love is not earned — it’s initiated.
And it’s not reserved for insiders, the faithful, or the put-together.
It’s aimed at the world — including the parts of your life you’ve been avoiding.
Today’s reminder is simple and disruptive:
You are not moving toward God to earn love.
You are responding to a love that already moved toward you.
🙏 Father, help me receive Your love as a gift — not a reward. Amen.
