“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” — Matthew 28:18

Fear doesn’t usually come from weakness.

It comes from confusion about authority.

The disciples were still surrounded by threats — Rome, religious leaders, uncertainty.

And Jesus didn’t remove those dangers.

He reframed them.

He didn’t say, “Nothing can hurt you.”

He said, “I’m in charge.”

That changes everything.

Whatever feels powerful in your life right now — pressure, people, systems, fear — it is not ultimate.

It does not get the final word.

Jesus does.
