In every kingdom on earth, power is used for show.
Kings rise to prove themselves.
Empires rise to intimidate rivals.
Rulers rise to crush their enemies.
But when our King rises from the dead,
He doesn’t storm the Temple.
He doesn’t confront Pilate.
He doesn’t punish the priests.
He goes to restore the ones who failed Him.
Because the resurrection isn’t God showing off His power —
it’s God showing the world His heart.
The world uses strength to dominate.
Jesus uses strength to heal.
The world flexes to be admired.
Jesus resurrects to reconcile.
So if you’re bracing for judgment…
if you think your mistakes have disqualified you…
look again.
The first act of the risen Christ
was not vengeance —
but mercy.
🙏 Lord, thank You for using power to heal and reconcile. Help me believe that Your strength is always moving toward me in love. Amen.
