“You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” — Matthew 24:44
Most of us think we’ll have more time.
More time to change.
More time to care.
More time to figure out who we are — and who God is.
But Jesus says the Kingdom doesn’t come with a countdown.
There are no alerts.
No notifications.
No warning buzz that says, “Now’s the moment.”
So don’t wait for a wake-up call.
Live awake.
Live like what you do today actually matters.
Jesus, help me stop sleepwalking through life. Make me ready — not just later, but now. Amen.
